Reversible Tunisian Knit Stitch - CRO HOOK
Hi and welcome back to my channel! Today with more cro-hooking, specifically: see how cro-hook is done with Tunisian Knit Stitch and how beautiful it is. The ribbing is even more defined, looking more and more like Brioche knitting or crochet.
I remind you that cro-hooking must be done using 2 balls of yarn and a double-ended crochet hook. Enjoy!!

CRO HOOK - Reversible Tunisian Crochet
Переглядів 6492 місяці тому
This is CRO HOOK, also known as REVERSIBLE TUNISIAN CROCHET, I would say also that it looks pretty much like BRIOCHE KNITTING or CROCHET. Anyway, it is worked with 2 balls of yarn in different colours and a double-ended crochet hook, either straight, short or long, or cabled, that is to say 2 hooks in same size joined by a -usually- detachable cable. Curious about this new technique? So let’s s...

    Have you ever worked with three double ended hooks at the same time like in knitting? I came across some patterns in annies attic book by Donna Jones who has patterns of crochet in the round with 3 double ended hooks and I just don’t get it. Have you worked this way and/or do you have some tips? It is after all tunisian crochet 😊

    I’ve made a few afghans with my 10” cro-hook which were a definite labour of love. When I began exploring Tunisian crochet around 15 years ago, Cro-hooking was the most prevalent info available. I have a couple of double ended hook stitch books that are so fun to explore. I’m glad you’re sharing this!

    I made a scarf using a double ended hook with extended knit stitch. There is a book from Annie’s Attic with 101 double ended stitches. Totally addictive. I look forward to your videos, especially interested to see what you do with the left and right borders for joining etc

    Your description of the technique is very clear. May I suggest using a different type of yarn for demonstration. This yarn has a texture that makes it harder to see individual stitch definition. One other minor quibble: "ramification" is less idiomatic a word than "branching."

    • @HookloopsarahCrochet
      @HookloopsarahCrochet 3 місяці тому

      Sorry for the frame mistake, I try to be careful but sometimes it still happens. I don't record it again when I think the mistake does not compromise the overall understanding of the stitch. As for the increase: good question! I would sure come up with something, let me see. ;-)

      Mostly, but it depends on the stitch you are using. For Brioche Tunisian I usually use "back bump increases", for example. :)
